West Footscray II

This rear extension of a Federation home includes a new meals, living, kitchen, laundry & study nook area. The palette is bold and colourful & the owners are thrilled with their new family space. We raised the energy rating of the whole house from a poor 2.4 stars up to 6.3 stars despite the extension only being a relatively small proportion of the whole. The polished concrete floor has hydronic heating throughout & is well insulated to reduce heat loss and increase efficiency. An angled deck and verandah at the rear compliments the angled skillion roofline & creates a great indoor - outdoor connection.
