Footscray II

A contemporary two storey addition to a traditional terrace in the inner urban context. While the tight site imposed many constraints, the design focussed on setting the home up for the future, with all electric heating, hot water & cooking running on the renewable energy from rooftop solar. 

Recycled timber and bricks, insulation, double glazing and efficient appliances combine to make this a wonderfully sustainability home, with low running costs and a small carbon footprint.
